The immersive work conceived for Sala Orive emerges from the dialogue between the exhibition content and the singular character of the space that hosts it. The project highlights the exhibition’s essential themes, centred on the awakening to life in Ancient Egypt, while integrating them with the powerful architectural identity of the venue, a Baroque setting of extraordinary beauty and character. Rather than imposing itself on the space, the audiovisual piece draws on Sala Orive’s unique architecture to make it an active part of the narrative. Its volumes, surfaces, and ornamental rhythm enhance the visual experience, giving the installation a particularly evocative and immersive symbolic dimension.
The piece is structured in four phases, almost like four acts, building a narrative that follows the different stages of existence: from the conception of a new being, through childhood and adolescence, to the tragic passage into the afterlife. In this way, the installation offers an emotional and visual journey through the cycle of life, connecting the Egyptian worldview with the dramatic power of the Baroque space in which it unfolds.
